About
This engaging musical adaptation of the classic by Frances Hodgson Burnett opens with a happy Sara Crewe, heiress to a large fortune. Enrolled at Miss Minchin’s seminary in Victorian England, her life takes a dramatic turn when she receives news of the loss of her father... and her fortune. Sara is forced by the greedy Minchin to become a servant and live in a wretched attic room. When a mysterious gentleman from India moves next door, curious things begin to happen. Sara even discovers that her fortune has been retrieved.

Australian Surf Life Saving Championships

The 2024 Australian Surf Life Saving Championships will be held On the Sunshine Coast, Queensland at Alexandra Headland SLSC, Maroochydore SLSC and Mooloolaba SLSC. The Aussies is an annual event where members from Australia’s 314 Surf Clubs come together to compete in more than 480 beach and ocean events. It is the largest event of its kind, only comparing the likes of the Commonwealth Games. The events cover all the skills required to save a life, from water skills to beach skills to first aid and team events.
