Downunder Beachfest

Beachfest is an annual event that celebrates hot rod, custom and classic motor vehicles and the rock n roll life style. It is held annually on the Sunshine Coast and runs over five days during June. There are a variety of activities included. They include cruises through the Sunshine Coast, often passing some of the many attractions on the Coast, entertainment, dancing, car displays, dinners, etc. A wide variety of merchandise will available to be ordered in advance and there will be a variety of traders at the displays. The event supports local community organisations and raises funds for a registered charity. In 2023 it will be raising funds for Juvenile Diabetes Full details of the event will be on its website and its Facebook page. Entry for the event opens early each year and close in May.

Sculpture on the Edge

A creative feast of nine days of art, food and natural beauty. Arts Connect Inc’s annual event, Sculpture on the Edge, is back for its 15th celebratory year. This nine day creative feast of art and food is being held in the natural beauty of Flaxton Gardens on the Sunshine Coast. The exhibition of indoor and outdoor sculptures, which are all for sale, aims to ignite your imagination, inspire and delight you. Workshops will be held as part of the event to entice you to get in touch with your hidden talents or to further develop your skills. With thanks to the generous support of the sponsors, donors and event partner, Flaxton Gardens, Sculpture on the Edge is a not to be missed experience for everyone.
