Drizzle Boy

Drizzle Boy is poked, prodded and diagnosed by a world that wants to change him and a family who doesn’t understand him. Then, on his first day of university, he meets Juliet and suddenly everything seems possible — even his lifelong dream of building a rocket and blasting-off toward the stars! Be inspired by this charming and witty coming-of-age adventure of hope as Drizzle Boy first experiences university, love, and independence. More than a journey of self-discovery, this story is a window into what it is like to see the universe differently. If you’ve seen the cult film Rain Man, Drizzle Boy will strike a chord in your heart. Join Drizzle Boy on a deeply moving and enlightening rocket ride, as he takes back his narrative from a world of misunderstandings with irreverence and audacity. Don’t miss Queensland Theatre’s award-winning, smash-hit production, coming to Caloundra for one night only!
