A Home Among the Gum Trees Guided Walk

It's koala session! To a walk with our guides to learn more about the eucalypt species koalas love to eat. Maybe even spot a koala.

It’s koala season! These endangered and oh so cute marsupials are on the move looking for love or new territory.

Come along to the Maroochy Bushland Botanic Gardens and enjoy a relaxing and informative walk with our guides along the Lagoon Walk.

Learn how to recognise the eucalypt species that koalas prefer to eat, along with other amazing eucalypt and koala trivia. You might even get lucky and spot a koala sleeping up high in one of the branches.

Suitable for families. Walk includes both paved and gravel surfaces in the natural bush setting of the Botanic Gardens. Please dress for a walk outdoors.

Meet at the entrance to the Arts & Ecology Centre, Maroochy Bushland Botanic Gardens, Tanawha.

Sculpture on the Edge

A creative feast of nine days of art, food and natural beauty. Arts Connect Inc’s annual event, Sculpture on the Edge, is back for its 15th celebratory year. This nine day creative feast of art and food is being held in the natural beauty of Flaxton Gardens on the Sunshine Coast. The exhibition of indoor and outdoor sculptures, which are all for sale, aims to ignite your imagination, inspire and delight you. Workshops will be held as part of the event to entice you to get in touch with your hidden talents or to further develop your skills.
