Sunshine Coast Blues & Roots Festival Presents “Acoustic Sounds”

Sunshine Coast Blues & Roots Festival Presents “Acoustic Sounds”

A night of spectacular Blues infused songwriting with Daryl James, Pat Nicholson and Grim Fawkner.

Hailing from Victoria, Australia, rambling man, Grim Fawkner, is no stranger to stages and streets across the globe and at home. The epitome of the itinerant musician, he draws together tales and musings from his travels and is as likely to deliver them in soft ballad form as he is face-meltingly intricate and upbeat roots/country/blues.

Multi-instrumentalist and award-nominated singer/songwriter, Daryl James fuses heavy blues with the raw Celtic roots of his North Wales homeland. Wielding a wild array of stringed instruments and custom foot percussion, many-a-tall-tale is sparked to life through his captivating live performances.

Pat Nicholson’s lyrics resonate with authenticity. Each song is carefully crafted inviting listeners into a world where melodies weave tales of love, loss, and everything in between. Pat is carving a niche that's uniquely his own. Check out his New Single “I Need You". The song was written and produced by Nicholson and recorded in both Australia and England and mixed by Grammy Award Winning Producer / Engineer
Dave O’Donnell in New York. Dave has mixed albums for Keith Richards, Sheryl Crow and a long list of amazing artists. Pat is currently recording a soon to be released album with Grammy Award Winning Drummer Rob Brian (Simple Minds, Siouxsie Sioux, Peter Gabriel).

This is sure to be a stellar night of "Acoustic Sounds".
