Reflections of India Exhibition

Hazel is a emerging artist from Sunshine Coast. She has an interest in the natural and material world and our connections to them. Bold and vibrant colours have been at the forefront of her recent works and she explores how light plays on her subjects to bring out colours that sit barely on the edge of our perception.

Reflections of India is an immersion into her travels to India in 2017. Hazel found India to be so stark, filled with contrasts and a vibrancy that really resonated with her as an artist. The art pieces featured in this exhibition dive into Hazel's own exploration as an artist and pay homage to her favourite images from that time of travelling in India.
